Just getting to sharing a few photos from our trip last month to Yankee Candle Village in S. Deerfield, Mass. I'm quite bummed lately because my photo quality is HORRIBLE ~ thinking my computer's video card is going or something. Everything looks awful and distorted. Not just my photos, but everyone's, all over j-land and even all over the web. Photos and graphics, all a mess. It's got me depressed. Well, anyway, while I still have some pics, here they are. I hope they don't look blurry and distorted to you all!
Beau with a cute little mountainside village there. I just love the tiny ski-lifts (gondolas?)! He thinks they're cool. He said to make sure I got them in the picture!
Do you know that here in central Connecticut, we are still having weather up into the 50's most days? Not one flake of snow in sight! Not forcasted for Christmas, either. Supposed to be very grey and in the upper 40's on Monday. I think tomorrow is going to pour rain. :HUGE POUT: We are going to get whalloped with blizzards in February, just watch. I am, however, happy that we don't live in the Denver area...but my stepson Eric does live in Colorado Springs! YIKES! Don't know how they're doing out there today.
How's this for a giant Lego creation?!? A Bionicle Hero! Beau loved that. Can you imagine building that? I can't!!

That Lego guy is taller than Beau!! Beau would love our "Lego Store" that we have here in Downtown Disney. He'd spend all day looking at all of the creations.
Great pictures. Beau is such a handsome boy.

I have a better idea...come stay with me and we'll take Beau to "Legoland"....he'd LOVE it!! Think about it.

Cute pics! Cute Beau!

The pictures look fine here. Are you only having problems when online viewing graphics? If so, try clearing the AOL cache, and purging the stored art files. If you are having the same problem both on and off line, then you may be experiencing either a video card or video driver problem. Do a computer update and see if there are any updated driver's available. Hope it all works out with a minimum of hassle. The Lego man is cool, but I believe I like the tiny village the best. The ski lift is the best part and really sets off the scene.

I loved pictures!! :)
No snow here either for Christmas. We have been having thunderstorms ALL day...sigh...
*hugs*
Your pictures look great to me, so yep, must be your video card. I wouldn't even know how to replace that!! Beau's hair looks good long like that. He is getting to be such a man already!
Hugs and love,
Lisa
Hi !!!!!!!!
I would have loved to have been there at the Yankee Candle Village. The photos look amazing and I am wishing I had been there to see it with you. I love coming to your journal because there is always something new to see. Thanks for sharing your travels with us. Take care and have a great Christmas.
My friends Erica and Craig (who are brother and sister) flew out to Colorado last week to visit their grandmother, alone, and are stuck there. They're not getting home until 11pm christmas day. How much does that suck?
I told her though, they could be in a much worse predicament. They've got some semblance of family to be with in a house with a place to sleep - not stuck at the Airport. She's also GOT a house and family to go home to, which is more than some people can say...I figure she's gotta try to count her blessings, even though it must suck to be stranded out there.
But we've all got to find a little light in the darkness at this time of year.
