Autumn, the cellar-dweller. I finally got her to come out of hiding last night, after 3 weeks. Went down there with treats and she let me visit with her for 1/2 hour. She came here because her owners had nowhere for her to go, and I don't want to keep her - but - they aren't doing anything about finding her a new home. She's living in our guest bedroom. Sigh. She doesn't look well to me. She looks sickly. And probably is depressed and somewhat pissed off, I would think. Poor girl.

We lost a cat who looked JUST like that and her name was Angel. She has been gone for over 8 months though and we think the coyotes got her. :( I am happy that Autumn has finally emerged from the basement. At least she has a loving home to be in right now.

She doesn't know how lucky she is that you are willing to take care of her. If she did, she'd have a big kitty smile on that face.
It's too bad she is a cellar dweller...she is a pretty kitty.
