2,996 is a tribute to the victims of 9/11.
On September 11, 2006, 2,996 volunteer bloggers
will join together for a tribute to the victims of 9/11.
Each person will pay tribute to a single victim.
We will honor them by remembering their lives,
and not by remembering their murderers.

I've signed up to honor Mary Catherine Boffa on September 11th. More bloggers are needed to reach the goal of honoring all 2,996 victims. Here is the link for info and where you can sign up.
Thank you to Connie, who originally directed me to this project. Since last week, I've seen others doing the same. It's the least we can do, since we can't do much else.

Yes...a wonderful idea. I signed up a few weeks ago. It's an incredible experience. (We saw "World Trade Center" last night.....OMG)
