Isn't he a hoot??
His name is Riley. We've got him Saturday to Saturday.
No, my cats do not love him~!! But he's a good dog.
This week I am putting in a photo of Prue for my Feline Friday entry in honor of Pamela. Pam was the ultimate cat lover and Humane Society volunteer, and she took in, cared for and loved many animals over the years. I know she had a special affinity for cats. I'm sure her kitties miss her. We will always miss her.
So you see, Prue is my rescued stray kitty who I found over 5 years ago, took home intending to 'find her a good home' and here she still purrs. She had five beautiful kittens before I had her spayed, and the lovely Genavieve who you see featured from time to time here in Paragon is one of those babies. (see march 17 entry) The other four went to live on a pig farm to be barn cats. No, I'm not kidding!
Visit a very serene looking Pickle here. And in the spirit of stray cats and our dear friend Pamela, play along with Feline Friday.

I took this photo of the Mallard pair yesterday evening
at the pond 2 blocks and across one street from
my house. They were interested in seeing if we had
any bread for them. Next time I will be sure to bring something
for them to eat!! The were cute, and pretty photogenic.
Although it was almost dusk and the light was getting low,
I think it came out nice.
Feline - or something - tomorrow, I think. We shall see.
Shadow stars again this week. Beau caught him hiding in a brown paper bag. Well, I guess he thought he was hiding!
I must apologize for not posting more than once a week for the past month. How absolutely boring of me! I've certainly bored myself to tears! I hope to start doing better any day now.
March was a month of madness (no pun intended) and the work is not over yet. I haven't taken any photos of anything interesting - this is not to say that I haven't taken PHOTOS, because I certainly have! They are just of school, and classes, school events, and kids, and school, and kids...and more kids....not my kids though...so I can't really post them in a public journal. The yearbook is ALMOST done. Sigh. Almost.
Spring is beginning to sproing outside (I think) but I haven't been out there much yet. My back is giving me more trouble than ever, and I am not dealing well with other things going on in my life. Let's just leave it at that...and I will try to get out there and TAKE PHOTOS! I miss it!
I want to send a big THANK YOU!! to Sassy at her journal Sassy's Eye for mentioning Paragon as one of her favorites. I am very humbled. Sassy was chosen as AOL-Journals Guest Editor and she did a wonderful entry full of favorites. I think she did an outstanding job! Thanks again, Sassy.
