Took a few pics today ::dancing in my chair::

How is this for an interesting looking (and colorful) house ?

We pass this house every week when we go to Hartford, it's on Prospect Avenue.

Isn't it wicked groovy ?

I finally just HAD to pull over today and get a picture.

It is very different... what's on the stairs?  It looks like branches blocking the top.
thanks for sharing

I really, really like that house!  Could you email me with how to get to it from 95?  I'm soon to head that way from LI and meet my sister around the hartford area.
Thanks!

LOVE the old houses in this area of Hartford!  They are GORGEOUS and even though this one has interesting colors, I still LOVE it!  One day I will have me one of those, but not in a city, so that will be hard.  LOL!
Hugs and love,
Lisa

It looks kinda' cool scary if that makes any sense.  I bet this would be a cool house to visit on Halloween.  So are those branches blocking the stairs?  And is that chair in front of the door?  Are they trying to tell us something?  lol

I am working on journal entry about Victorian homes.  I love the colors used for this type of home.

You probably already know this, but those are probably the original colors, not original paint but I've seen houses out my way redone to look like that...it's cool for sure, but I certainly would not have magenta on any part of my house LOL!

That's the Witch house, people call it. I go by it all the time on the way to UHA. There's usually a broom hanging over the door. ^_^
