Feline Friday

Beau was petting Gena and taking her picture at the same time !

She is just about to fall off that stool, I think.

I haven't really taken any photos this week, except at
school for the yearbook.  Busy, busy month.

Fishy Feline Friday

Feline Friday with Fish ~ Photo taken by Beau Wilder, age 9!

As i was cleaning the 5 gallon fish tank, our fancy goldfish were hanging out in the little bowl waiting for their mansion to be ready.

Jinx found them to be FASCINATING.
I think he may even have licked one or two of them.

Yummy!

Pickle (and Pickle...and Pickle!) here at Steven's.

My new 'CAT'

my Feline Friday entry this week feature's my newest
cat, Rocky. isn't he furry and cute?  he's great with kids,
a really good sport, and he's my new friend.

I was lucky enough to be involved in the planning of our
school's first Pep Rally for this past Tuesday.  When
asked several weeks ago if I knew someone "peppy"  ~ the first 'cat' who popped into my mind was Rocky.  I see him several times each summer when my son and I go to Rock Cats Baseball games.  I know someone who is a senior account executive at the RockCats stadium.  I made one phone call... and we were set!

We chose not to tell the kids that Rocky was coming to
the rally...and they went WILD!  It felt so good to be part of that day!!  He did not disappoint.  Not that I for a moment thought he would.  He messed with the principal, pretended to eat her head, and every toy prize he picked up he put in his mouth or stuffed in his pockets, to the delight of all the kids.  The principal had to keep telling him to "stop eating the prizes!!"

He danced the Macarena and played basketball with the kids, too.  It was a great time.

Beau and I are going to see Rocky today, as the stadium is having a Rock Cats Fanfest all day today!  Tours, games, mascots, raffles, food - you name it.  We'll be there!  You never know what my feline entry for NEXT friday might be.

m&m's for a cause

New M&M colors

Pass this on to all of your friends. There are many women out there who have breast cancer. Lets do all we can to support this cause.

New
Pink & White M&M's

The maker of M&M candies has teamed up with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation to raise funds through the sale of their new "pink & white" M&M candies.

For each 8-ounce bag of the special candies sold, the makers of M&M (Masterfoods) will donate 50 cents to the foundation. The next time you want a treat, please pick up a bag (now sold in stores nationwide) - you will be donating to a great cause and satisfying your sweet tooth.
Just think...If each of us buy one bag or two....
how much will be donated. Buy a bag for a friend...........

Please pass on to all your family and friends. -- Thank you.
