I actually have 3 cat photos in a row here, just couldn't wait - however, this one is probably my favorite.
I simply love the effect that I came up with in editing.

This photo was in my private journal the other day, but I was just looking over there again and realized that alot of you couldn't see it there...so I am posting it here as well. I did an oil painting effect on this photo in my fabulous program. I love the way it makes his fur look! Makes him look younger, too.
I'm waiting on Steven to do his Feline Friday entry, I've got lots of kitty pictures ready and waiting! Got some good ones this week. Hum, de dum dum...
Ok, so Beau just told me he hates the top photo here, and he was not having fun, because Allen was copying everything he said and teased him for 1/2 hour.
Now, isn't that what big brothers are famous for ?
Shortly after they got up from the floor, Beau kicked Allen in the crotch. Heheh. That's what LITTLE brothers are for !!!
I do believe that there is a Heaven.
Christmas Eve
12/24/05
Outside the local grocery store.
Glad I always carry the camera.
I have to back-track a bit before I go on to Christmas photos, since I was totally too busy and skipped this event...
My niece Noelle turned 21 a couple of weeks ago, and we went out to McKinnon's Irish Pub to celebrate. They host karaoke on Monday nights.
This is Noelle, in her element - singing! With her first Raspberry Cosmopolitan, too. It was a fun evening. She sang an Evanescence song for me, 'My Immortal' ~ I was moved to tears!!
I have funny cats.
They try to blend in, I guess. Or are they trying to hide? Teehee.
Kashmir has taken to this side table in the dining room. When I put the gift basket of chocolates there, he still insisted on finding room for himself. He's old, and not feeling very well.
Oh, wait, were you distracted by that basket full of Ghirardelli??
Prue enjoys laying on the hutch. She will squeeze in just about anywhere. She does, however, know that her catnip stash is kept in that drawer...
Check out Steven's Feline Friday journal entry, and say Merry Christmas to Pickle!
I have been SOOOOOO busy lately, not enough time in the days to do everything. I have cleaned, shopped, wrapped, decorated, and yes, taken photos...however, haven't had time to fix them up fancy and post. ACK!
Here are a couple I took today of 'my' pond. Ready for ice skating?? But, no, I don't skate.
Enjoy! And if I don't get back here by the weekend, I wish everyone a very happy holiday!!!
Peace!!
I saw a rainbow in a cloud again yesterday.
It looks like a giant smile.
The first photo is as it was seen by me;
in the second photo, I changed the look.
Awwww, didn't this come out pretty!?
I took this photo a few nights ago, while driving home with Beau. This is at a neighbor's house, every year they put out this wonderful sleigh full of gifts and shine a spotlight on it. The wreath on the house looks so nice, too. The packages are filled with bricks, haha, so don't try stopping by to take a box or two!
Getting into the Holiday spirit this week! We'll be out looking for the perfect tree today.
Yes, there will be photos !!!!
On Sunday, my son decided to be a snow artist. He made
many wonderful things for his mom.
This was my fave!
A Silent Night Movie <~~click
No matter what you believe, this is a little
movie worth seeing for the photos alone.
The words are moving, the music - a bonus.
Thanks for passing this on, Mom.
Brrrrr. There was no school Friday. We were soooo happy! The day before had been such a busy day, and we were also sick. Still sick! Trying to shake the ends of our terrible head colds, Beau and I.
This is my car, Friday night. It stayed this way until today, when someone was finally nice enough to brush it off for me and shovel around it.
So, I hope all of you who don't get any snow enjoy looking at my snow. Ya know, you can have it, too!
Paper candles decorated by the children at school. Hung up by me and my friend Rebecca. This is only a small amount of the 400 pretty candles that were all over the windows and doors in the school hallway.

Raised money for Ronald McDonald House, (New Haven, CT) Lights of Love. The kids paid $1.00 to wear their wacky hat that day, and we raised $214 to mail to the charity.
Beau's candle is the one right above my name. =)
Ok, yeah, some more geese!
I walked through so much goose poopie today to get these
wonderful shots, I am going to post as many as I want to !
Teeheehee. I hope you enjoy them all !!!
*OOOH~! I think I just noticed that they are not all geese!? Looks like some of them are mallard ducks, or do I need new glasses?? Cool!
This one fella closest to me here had just flown from the grass and landed on the water. I think his leg hurt, he was standing on just one, and didn't walk down to the water's edge with the rest of the gang. He flew! I caught him here just after he landed. See how the water is rippled so pretty ?? Makes me smile!

10:30 this morning.
I went to a pond that I sometimes drive by, but I never stop there.
Today I stopped. This is not in my town, it's one town East of me.
I can hardly believe that it is December. Seems just a month ago we
were at the beach! Swimming in the pool!
Savor every MOMENT, they go by too quickly.
